I cracked this bowl in the process of trying to complete a wedding gift commission. It was devastating.
I had worked so hard for so long...but evidently misprogrammed the kiln during the slump . There is no fix for it.
That was months ago...I am embarrassed to admit.
After trying to make a new one I found myself hesitant and couldn't make adequate progress despite putting waaaay too much time into it. I realized I needed to start over with a new design. The couple wanted a vineyard theme....so, that's what they will get (I hope!)
The new bowl is moving along nicely (finally) and I will be posting some of my progress over the next few posts. I will be ever so careful during my slump !
